colydreams: Kirani James gives his small island of Grenada their first medal ever! He won gold in the 400 meter race in these 2012 London Games. Even at 19, this man has a lot of heart and maturity. The World Champion exchanged racing bibs with the double amputee Oscar Pistorius in the semi-finals and even after finishing his winning race, James approached everyone and congratulated them on their hard work (though one bitter racer waved off his hand).
